Green Peeled Pistachio Kernel

  • Green peeled pistachio kernels are obtained from unripe pistachios kernels after peeling. 
  • Unripe pistachio kernels are carefully selected from the trees when they are not ripe, and then, they go through the peeling process that reveals the green kernel.
  • The Green peeled pistachio kernels are categorized into seven grades based on green color density: A, B, C, D, E, F, and G.
  • In this grouping, grade A is the darkest green color, and grade G has the lightest, yellowish-green. 
  • Various grades satisfy different food industry needs such as ice cream, chocolates, confectionery, bakery, sausages & ham, etc.

  • Kaal kernel is produced from carefully selected early-picked pistachios when they are not fully ripe, so the green hue is denser.
  • Kaal means “not ripe” and is obtained from closed-mouth pistachios that are still unripe.
