How are Shelled Pistachios produced?
Our Shelled Pistachios are typically obtained from closed-shell pistachios, mostly Jumbo and Round types. For this purpose, fully ripe closed-shell pistachios are carefully chosen from trees, then cracked, shelled, and sorted accurately in a hygienic site under strict quality control measures.
As they are produced from closed-shell pistachios, pistachio kernels have the least exposure to the outside environment before they are packed, hence free from aflatoxin and other contaminations.
Choosing the right raw material is the critical point separating us from others. A significant advantage of our shelled pistachios is that our company uses a knowledge-based analysis and procedure to select raw materials.
